Like WebMink my proposal to ETCON didn't get accepted. Isn't the first rejection and won't be the last.

Looking at the proposals that got through, I think I was going into into too much detail, should have stood back a bit more.

Not particularly bothered, it was a last-minute thing and had it been accepted it'd have meant the hassle of getting there.

Looks like there's some good material there anyhow, danbri's FOAF stuff got through (woo-hoo!), as did Sam and Ken's bit about the Atom Wiki.
