In comments on my pointer to hAtom post Doug Ransom points to a post of his on the syndication list back in 2003. Mail subject: : Time for XHTML-RSS?

I'm not in the least bit surprised someone has suggested the same basic idea before (especially someone like Doug). But I am a little surprised to find I was deep in the discussions on the thread myself, woe for my memory. I guess Doug planted a seed, I was a bit on the cautious side back then, now I think it's a great idea, especially with the way David Janes' been stomping through the microformats process to do it right.
