MindRaider is indeed pretty cool. The central idea of providing
multiple, parallel means for navigating and visualizing a pool of
inter-connected items is spot on.
But the problem again is in bridging this divide between a PIM interface and a Thinking-Tool interface. MindRaider is fine for the former, but hardly suitable for the later. I presume this pretty much alligns with what you are trying to say.
The interface of a typical outliner is perfect for a thinking-tool. One would like to think that with some carefull thought, it is possible to create the same fluidity in a tool based on graphs.
Somehow, it seems so much more fun to be stuck in webs than in trees!
