The
Next Generation of the Web - slides from Harry Halpin (HTML),
featuring how to get a date with Dan Connolly...
- In Screencasting Tips Jon Udell has a nice example of the difference between showing and telling:
So, you find a stick about yea long, and strip off the bark so itâs sticky, and poke it into the hole, and presto, it comes up bristling with yummy ants.
- Domain-specific SPARQL? Facebook now has a query facility based on a cut-down SQL-like language, results in XML or for the Facebook PHP client, whatever that is. There's quite a nice demo console. ( Side question - where are the Linked Data RDF tools on the Programmable Web?).
- Dojo does RDF - via Andrew Newman, who has more on SPARQLing Ajax (I wonder if that could be hooked up to Tabulator's RDF-in-Javascript..?)
- Another facet of the elephant that could use addressing: ERH (coming from an XML standpoint) reckons 2007 is make-or-break year for the Semantic Web; there's an intelligent thread on the rest-discuss list about The XML Semantic Web.
