Piece in the Economist : The web: some antics. Very nice to see. It describes real apps, not sure I'd heard of any of these before, which is great. Mentions RDF, SPARQL and OWL. Only negative point is that it emphasizes metadata, which is only (arguably less than) half the story - repeat after me: data, data, data...

Rael Dornfest's latest project gets a mention. Not sure what tech he has behind the scenes, but funnily enough I've recently been planning to set up a email (-to-RDF) drop box to help me organise my 'community' stuff. Sounds like the cute-looking Sandy might save me the trouble. Nice synchronicity that his company ( and new blog - what happened to the Raelity Bites?) is called values of n, and the Talis community stuff goes under the working title of n-squared. Has to be a formulaic pun there somewhere.
