Sparql's back!!!@en

We had a pile of soil dropped off in the terrace above No.10, in the process of shifting into its area in the yard below a load of the vines which act as a kind of fence got knocked over. This afternoon, after fixing that up, I came back down around the lane. On the wall was a meowing cat. One we hadn't seen since the 6th of July. It didn't seem real, I shouted Caroline over to make sure I wasn't imagining things.

Sparql's back

Most likely explanation is probably she got lost, maybe after being chased by the rough grey feral cat that lurks around Mozzanella. Though I'm not ruling out alien abduction. Anyhow we're all very, very happy.

Wow. I hadn't given up hope, but did feel more upset than optimistic. She's the least independent of the cats, not exactly vulnerable but still like the baby one. But she seems in good health, although has lost a lot of weight. Don't think she's ever had a waist before.

She's just wolfed most of a tin of food, now resting behind me on the chair. We'll keep her in here for a week or so, make sure she's ok, get her strength back up. Better have a drive around the neighbourhood tomorrow, take the posters down. Get her a collar and nametag too.
