Doug</a> commented that he'd seen enough dog photos, and wanted to
know how the garden was doing this year. Well, we're just starting
to get zucchini, the tomatoes are green but growing and the lawn is
fried thanks to it getting really hot and threatening storms every
day, but little coming of it.

Thanks to Caro I've go a little bit of work as the 
pool guy for a couple with a house just up the hill from us
(they do holiday lets). Day before yesterday, in the blazing sun I
realised it was easiest to clean the pool from within, very amused
at getting such an amazing job. The weather started turning later,
so I started to put down the big parasol they've got over their
patio, only to find it was already broken. Spent the following
couple of hours fixing it, in the pouring rain that for once did
